According to the results of The National Citizen Survey™ (2010), residents in Palm Coast reported a strong amount of neighborliness. More than 59% indicated talking or visiting with their neighbors at least several times a week. This amount of contact with neighbors was much more than the amount of contact reported in other communities in Florida and across the United States:
